I save money through my Canada Savings Bonds every year to pay for Christmas. I had $700 saved up. I just had to use all of it to pay bills because I needed clothes (three shirts and three bras), my kid is on a gluten-free diet ($184 this week alone), gas, books (about autism, my kid has it), and the fucking dentist. I've had a headache for about a week now. It ebbs, it flows, but it never goes away. It sometimes feels like a lot of general pressure inside my head, and sometimes it's just behind one eye, and sometimes it's just at the back of the head. Hurts more when I blow my nose or sneeze or bend over or work out--basically, anytime I put more pressure on my head. I'm not stuffy or congested. I don't have allergies (that I know of). I don't typically get migraines, though...

I've been in way too many hospitals in the last two months.

Kim has been bringing her horse and dogs down every weekend to spend time with Sheryl, help out, and get riding lessons. She generally heads our way on Friday mornings or so. She's been dealing with her dad's dementia for a while now and had gotten him in a care facility. He's a cranky old codger even when he has his spells of lucidity. off is winding to a close. I'll be working the first night shifts in a long time this week so that should be interesting. It will be an awesome reason to keep people from visiting though so the house and farm will be a lot more calm than they have been this week.

Sheryl's cancer is a Stage 4 and looking at the general numbers that pretty well sucks any way you slice it. She's having a PET scan in the morning and discussing the results with her oncologist in the afternoon so a day in Seattle is on my agenda for tomorrow.
